Mansion signs songwriter John Lemonis

Yesterday, Mansion Entertainment announced that they had signed songwriter John Lemonis to their Music Publishing Division with an exclusive songwriting agreement. Lemonis is the writer behind songs like the Kingdom Heirs hit “Forever Changed” and Brian Free & Assurance’s “Die Another Day,” and has also had cuts from┬áMichael W. Smith, Point of Grace, The Talley Trio, The Greenes, Scott Krippayne, and others. He has also composed musicals and choral pieces and released five of his own recordings.

What makes this particularly interesting is that the two leading Southern Gospel record companies, Crossroads and Daywind, both have active music publishing divisions with many of the best-known Southern Gospel songwriters signed to one or the other. This is, to my knowledge, the first high-profile writer signing to Mansion.

  1. John’s a real writer; I hope Mansion finds him many cuts!
