Update on Shannon Childress

On Monday, Teresa Childress Lutz announced that her brother, former Hoppers/Childress Family pianist Shannon Childress, had taken a turn for the worse and was in hospice. She sent out an update today that Shannon has made “some minor improvement.” His pain medication has been increased, so he is feeling better; however, he had a fall this morning when trying to stand up.

She concluded: “Things seem to be a little better, but still serious. We are still praying and hoping for a miracle. Thank you, thank you, and thank you again for praying. Please keep it up. As I said the other day, there is power in prayer!!”
