Sony’s Thoughts: Be Faithful in the Little Things

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.” (Luke 16:10)

It seems like people often talk about doing great things for God or winning the world for Christ. Although those are worthy goals and not impossible with God’s help, sometimes God asks things of us that may not seem so glamorous but is, in reality, what He’s called us to, which makes it equally important.

Are you a wife and mother? God is asking you to perform your daily tasks to the best of your ability for His glory. It’s more important for you to raise your children to serve God than to evangelize the rest of the world. By serving your husband, you are helping him to be more effective in his calling as well.

Do you get tired of punching a clock at work each day? If that is where God has you, do it with a spring in your step, knowing He has a purpose in you being there. You may not know who needs to see your witness but there’s a good chance someone does.

If you are sick and can’t get around well, you can always pray and intercede for others. That is a powerful tool which is desperately needed.

No one is useless in the Body of Christ. He only asks for willing vessels who are willing to do whatever He asks, no matter how small it may seem. Are you that vessel?
