Homeland Records Returns

When Bill Traylor appeared on a recent edition of Paul Heil’s The Gospel Greats, he announced that he was going to bring Homeland Records back. Homeland had been a major label for eighteen years until Todd Payne, another of the major players in the label, left to form Cathedral Records and took several of Homeland’s biggest artists (including Legacy Five and the Florida Boys) with him.

Traylor announced that Homeland is coming back and should have several albums out early next year. He did not, however, announce which artists he has signed.

  1. Hello

May I introduce myself, I am Loyd C Taylor, sr. I am a songwriter, singer and musician. I wanted to know if your would be willing to receive any of my music for consideration for use by you or to pitch to some one else.

If that is not possible at this time, I wanted to ask for your advice and direction and or recommendation for how I might best get my music out to appropriate people and or music companies, studios, etc.

My music is in Gospel, positive country and bluegrass, as well as children’s somgs. I have the lyrics and music as well.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you for your time and God bless.

    • Loyd, this is a news website. So, regrettably, there wouldn’t be much use in you pitching us your songs!
