7 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. Daniel is one of the best young bass singers I have heard! And he has only gotten better from when I sang with him at Stamps-Baxter school of music!

I expect to see him go far in the industry because he’s not just just a good bass singer, but he’s a great guy on and off stage!

    • I’ve only had the chance to talk with him twice, but he does seem to be really, really nice.

  2. Tim Riley Junior. Tim Rackley has some similarities to Ivan Parker. Really, the group is on par with the 80’s/ early 90’s Gold City.

  3. other than this being your website, is there any reason you don’t like any other point of view allowed on here?

    • The assumption underlying your assumption is incorrect. I allow a broad variety of perspectives, many of which I do not agree with, so long as they fall within the limits of our simple and straightforward comment rules. You had several comments deleted because they fell outside of the guidelines for courteous discourse established in the comment rules.

The rules are posted clearly directly above the comments area in every post. Every effort has been made to make them concise and easy to understand; the full rules are only twenty-four words long. It should only take you about ten seconds to read them. Once you have read them, you will know which comments will be approved and which will be deleted.

  4. while i don’t disagree with your comments, i guess that we will have to “agree to disagree” on what is inside and outside the lines of comments that are “courteous discourse”

to satisfy the both of us, i’ll refrain from posting any further comments
