Update on Scotty and Kasey Inman’s daughter

Triumphant Quartet baritone Scotty Inman and his wife, Kasey, welcomed their daughter Embry into the world last Saturday, August 25th. In the following twenty-four hours, she stopped breathing several times and suffered multiple seizures. Scotty posted an update yesterday:

Great, Great News!
We just got word from the Neurologist that Embry’s brain is completely fine! We praise the Lord & again, thank all of you for your continued prayers!
She still has the seizure condition. The doctors are continuing her medicine for that and they will do another EEG, In a day or so , to re-check her activity. We now pray for results and answers to this unknown. She will remain in NICU & We will be here, with her, for a few more days, at least. Kasey & I just had great visit w/ her.

God is Great, no matter what

Scotty, Kasey, & Embry

3 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. I can’t imagine what kind of ordeal this is for first-time parents. Praise the Lord for His work thus far, and may His hand continue to be on little Embry and the family.

  2. I do not know this couple, yet they and their little girl are in my prayers.I pray that God would give them peace and strength for each moment and give the doctors wisdom to administer the correct treatment.

  3. We keep praying! Praise God for the report and we trust Him for all the results.
