  1. Thanks! This is one of the coolest birthday greetings I’ve ever received! 🙂

  2. Hey, sweet Daniel…let me add my wishes to the Garms Family today: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! You’re the best, and a wonderful friend to me. May the Lord continue to bless you, and I hope this is the best birthday you ever had. Dianne.

    • Thank you so much! It certainly was one of the best, and a greeting as cool as the one they put together sure didn’t hurt! 🙂

  3. Daniel, I would also sing you a birthday greeting BUT I sound like a hog trowling thru pig slop. So the keypad written greeting will have to suffice.

    • Thanks! And besides, even the best of singers wouldn’t want to follow children this cute who can sing this well. 🙂

  4. Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday, Daniel! Love the blog!

    • Thanks! I’m glad you enjoy it! 🙂

  5. Happy birthday, Dear Friend. I hope you’re enjoying one of your nicest birthdays ever.

  6. Happy Birthday Daniel! I truly appreciate what you do, and the consistent, thoughtful, honest approach you provide.

  7. Happy Birthday!!! =)

  8. Happy Birthday Daniel! I love your blog…keep up the good work.

  9. Daniel- Wishing you a blessed & wonderful birthday in the Lord. Thanks for your faithful reporting day in and day out and erudite, well-tuned scholarship when it comes to SG and all of its musical offshoots.

    • Thank you, Tom! It makes my day to be called erudite! That is a high, high compliment! 🙂

  10. I’m sure that video made your day and anything we adults would add just couldn’t top it!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

    • Well … I do love my adult readers and really enjoyed all these greetings, but yes, I have to admit, that would be pretty hard to top! 🙂

  11. Hidee Daniel,
    Happy Birthday!

  12. Happy Birthday one day late! We did not see this blog post yesterday, but in the evening did hear the Perrys who are sounding great!

At least we remembered to wish you a happy birthday in the morning!

    • Thanks! I had not known you were going to see them!

  13. Hey Daniel, a very happy birthday to you. I think it’s one day late but don’t think you mind. Thanks for the great job you do all year. God bless you.

  14. Well I’m a little late to the party and I’m sorry but
Happy Birthday Daniel!!! I don’t think anyone could ever do anything any better than what the Garms have done. That’s awesome.

  15. Best of wishes for a very “Happy Birthday”. Enjoy it all, as we are so blessed by enjoying your posts to keep us all up to date with Southern Gospel music and musicians.

  16. Josh VanKlomp asked on YouTube about the hats Sam and Caleb were wearing, so we thought we’d share the significance of them here as well. Daniel designed and gave Sam, Jayme, and Caleb each an “official” SouthernGospelBlog.com hat, and they love them. Jayme would have been wearing hers, but since Caleb misplaced his, she borrowed him her hat for the quick taping. Also, the bowties – a signature Daniel J. Mount look – were made by one of Daniel’s talented sisters. 🙂

  17. Have a safe and a great birthday with lots of presents and lots of cake!

  18. Very cute! Happy Birthday, Daniel! What day was it? Today? Mine was July 1st and I turned 59! Doesn’t seem possible! Later, Me

    • Thanks, and congratulations! Mine was the 14th, the same day this post went up.

  19. Here’s a late Happy Birthday wish. I was at the road with my quartet last weekend, so I had no access to internet. God bless you man. In behalf of the Vocallys Quartet, from Brazil!

  20. Sorry I missed the actual day Daniel…happy birthday!
To avoid it ever happening again, consider this a blanket lifetime “Happy Birthday!” 🙂

  21. Well this comes 17 days late but I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
