Lily Isaacs announces autobiography

The Isaacs announced yesterday that they have signed a deal with New Leaf Publishing Group to release Lily Isaacs’ autobiography next May. The announcement describes the book’s focus:

Lily’s autobiography, You Don’t Cry Out Loud, will be available May of 2014 and offers an extremely personal look at her life including: growing up in a Jewish family, surviving breast cancer, and overcoming relationship struggles. A talented daughter of Holocaust survivors, Lily Isaacs is a woman who has felt pain, loss, and the incomparable joy of a life with Jesus Christ. Co-founder and current member of The Isaacs whose 35-year career includes performances at the Grand Ole Opry, Gaither Homecoming Concerts, and more- Lily has experienced incredible highs and very deep lows. Above all, Lily’s steady refrain has been one of God’s constant love, comfort, and strength. New Leaf Publishing Group is honored to partner with such an influential Christian voice. Her story is sure to touch lives and encourage anyone who may be experiencing their own valleys.

  1. Living about 45 minutes from New York City, I have seen hundreds of singers and entertainers of all different genre’s on broadway, in concert, and in intimate night clubs over the last 40+ years. With that in mind, I do not hesitate to say that I believe Sonya Isaacs Yeary is the best vocalist/singer I have ever heard in any type of genre. I have had the opportunity to meet her and the rest of the family on several occasions. So I am really looking forward to learning more about the family, and eagerly loof forward to Lily’s autobiography. I cannot even imagine the pain, the loss, and the incomparable joy of a life with Jesus Christ that she has lived, and I am sure that her writings will not only glorify the Lord, but will be an amazing reflection of a well lived life. I’m going to have to do some research and see if there is a chance of getting an Advanced Readers Copy. Thanks Daniel, for letting us know about the upcoming book.
