  1. Had read about Aaron & Amanda going to Tennessee. Wondering if he will still be with Canton Junction.
Also, no word on GVB replacements?
    Thanks!

    • I personally don’t see how Aaron Crabb could continue singing with them trying to start a new church. For one, that is a very intensive process, trying to get established in the community. Of course, I’m sure he will have no problems getting people to come, based on name recognition alone.

Secondly, I can’t seem to find any tour dates for Canton Junction online. My impression is that most of their singing is done in the context of Cornerstone services, with minimal road dates. If that is the case, then I don’t see how Aaron could join them at Cornerstone to sing unless they only do it on Thursdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays. If they sing on Sundays, he will be in Hendersonville at his own church. If they do have any road dates, he could join them, but that would pose some serious logistical issues, as late Saturday/early Sunday is usually when groups travel back home. He would (or at least I would) be totally exhausted by the time he gets home, and then have to conduct a service…

It is worth noting that they aren’t planning on having their first service until September 14, 2014. That gives them a full 9 months to make the adjustments needed. However, I’m sure the bulk of that 9 months will be spent getting the building ready, canvassing the area, running ads, etc.

  2. Does this mean a change (or hiatus) for Canton Junction, as well?

  3. In regards to Aaron Crabb…wonder what this means for his position with Canton Juntion?

  4. According to Aaron and Amanda Crabb’s website, they are leaving Cornerstone to start a new church in Hendersonville, as opposed to accepting positions there.

  5. With Aaron leaving cornerstone, will he still be a part of canton junction?

  6. Thanks Daniel, for postiing about Aaron and Amanda. I, for one, am thrilled for them and the opportunity that the Lord has opened for them. I am planning to travel to TN from NJ to be a part of the celebration on September 14th.

  7. Adam Crabb is the newest member of the Gaither Vocal Band according to Gaither website.

  8. ADAM CRABB! ADAM CRABB! He’s the new Gaither Vocal Band person. Confirmed the group will be 5 people strong. 5th person to be named later

The Gaither Vocal Band Welcomes Adam Crabb!

We are thrilled to welcome Adam Crabb aboard as the newest member of The Gaither Vocal Band! Adam comes to us with years of musical expertise, including on-stage and studio work as a member of award-winning Crabb Family, and as a solo artist and worship leader.

Bill Gaither is grateful and excited about the future! He says, “For decades now, we have reinvented the Gaither Vocal Band again and again, and in the process we have found some of the most incredible male singers and wonderful human beings on the planet. Adam is a very exciting addition to this 30-year legacy of excellence.”

As for a fifth member of the Gaither Vocal Band, Bill adds, “We are taking our time and trying out some wonderful individuals during the next few weeks. 15. Wow!!! To the Rambo video!!! Fabulous!!! Thanks for sharing!!

  16. I loved watching the video of the Rambos too. It makes me miss Dottie. Heaven really is sounding sweeter every day.

  17. I am so very happy for both the Crabb boys and their families. I am especially glad for Aaron to be moving on into his own ministry. I have felt all along that he was destined for something better than his position at Cornerstone, though I am sure that was just a stepping stone. Prayers for both of them, God’s blessings.

  18. Got an out of left field question: would anyone happen to have the complete soundtracks to Gold City’s 2004 release “First Class”? I’ve done a pretty exhaustive search and have come up empty so far. Thanks for the help!

  19. Canton Junction is scheduled for NQC 2014

  20. Hey Daniel, Since Aaron Crabb has left Cornerstone Church, does this mean he is no longer part of Canton Junction or is he just leaving the church and not the group?

    • That hasn’t been announced.

      • According to Canton Junction face
book page, Aaron is still with Canton Junction. Check it out for yourself.

  21. Is the “Recent Comments” section down for good?

    • I don’t know. It is at least down until Gaither finds his fifth member.

      • Why’s that?
