5 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. Two things stand out to me. First: is there any group out there today, quartet or otherwise, that pumps out more “live” albums/DVDs than Signature Sound? Secondly, I guess the Talleys are still calling themselves The Talleys, even though Brian is not touring with them anymore? Maybe this leaves it open ended for if he ever joins them again.

    • Yes, The Talleys are still calling themselves The Talleys. If I recall correctly, they actually made the name change before Brian joined.

  2. BFA’s album preview says the new record is available February 2014, not April 2014.

    • The album preview is mistaken, or, perhaps I should say, out of date. The information contained in this post is more recent.

  3. Wes Hampton just announced a pre-sale for his new CD titled “Reality”. According to his post, it will release in “3-4 weeks” which would be around the same time as the Vocal Band’s Hymns project.
