5 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. That kinda reminds me of these big orchestrated ballads we have today, where half of the song calls back to the old hymn.

  2. My songs are original.

  3. And, please oh please, pick a subject other than the prodigal son! (Great subject, but overdone.)

  4. let’s not forget how you can find “David & Goliath”, “the 3 Hebrew boys”, and the Red Sea parting in almost all of the Southern Gospel songs. if it doesn’t mention it directly, it may make some slight recollection of those stories.

  5. As long as people keep writing about the cleansing blood of Christ, I won’t complain! I think we need more of that!
