I saw the Dixie Echoes tonight…

…and this is what I thought. (EDIT: 8/5/2011: Broken link removed)

Yes, I can step back and write about the genre objectively, but at heart I’m a fan.

I’ll post more detailed thoughts when I have the time, probably Monday.

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. More detailed thoughts – LOL.

A minute ago I half-typed a post asking if you were going to be able to go, and then I got distracted or something and didn’t post it. Looks like you enjoyed yourself!

  2. Yes. 🙂

  3. Glad you had a great time. I’m so happy when somebody enjoys them and appreciates what they do. Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

  4. I’ve said it before… No better evening of gospel music can be spent than with the Dixie Echoes. No tracks. No stacks. Just great gospel singing…

Glad you were able to go…
