Gary Casto to undergo surgery today

Tribute Quartet lead singer / manager Gary Casto will be undergoing kidney stone surgery today. Tribute performed last weekend at the Brumley Sing in Missouri; during the event, he had to be rushed to the emergency room. He had one surgery Tuesday and is having a second, to hopefully completely correct the problem, today. Tribute has more information on their website. Keep him in your prayers.

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. I will certainly keep Gary and all of Tribute in my prayers.

I saw the group this past weekend and if I hadn’t known he was ill, I would never have suspected a thing from Gary’s stage performance. He’s a true professional.

  2. I remember many years ago (20???) when Gary passed out on stage and the poor boy had THIRTEEN kidney stones at that time. I hope he is doing well and I know he will be back on stage in no time.
