Official Cathedrals Website to Close

Ernie Haase’s most recent Signature Sound newsletter included the following announcement:

Since the retirement of the Cathedral Quartet in 1999 we have continued to offer their product through their website at www.cathedralquartet.com. [EDIT, 6/7/12: Broken link removed.] Due to dwindling inventory the Cathedral website will be shutting down as of November 30, 2007. (We are keeping Dads site up and running and that address is www.georgeyounceonline.com.) [EDIT, 2/21/13. Broken link removed.] We sincerely appreciate your support and patronage down through the years. Once this product is gone it will no longer be available so we encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity now while you still have the chance.

Thank you and God bless,
Gina Younce

While I am sorry to see it close, I can’t claim to be surprised; in fact, what surprised me was finding it still running about two years ago. I hope the last few months go well for them.

  1. I’m a little disapointed but I’m glad Georges website is staying up.

  2. I am trying to find a songbook that has songs written by George Younce with music and words. Can you please direct me to a web site where I can purchase such a songbook? I appreciate you assistance.
