  1. Impressive to say the least… I am really liking the new L5 sound… It is amazing how changing one singer in a group can change the dynamic and the perception of the entire group… Of course the tenor is a very big part in a quartet… And while I liked Frank Seamans as a seemingly great guy I was never sold on his quartet singing… Not saying he is a bad singer but maybe not cut out to be a tenor in this power style… Gus on the other hand seems to fit L5 vocally like a glove and he brings a great personality on and off the stage… I will say it right here this lineup providing it stays intact will go further than any lineup preceding it! I could see a Greater Vision, Booth Brothers, Sig Sound like run for these guys very soon… Providing they consistently get good material, and keep the same lineup.

  2. Sounds really good!

Does anyone know when the “Just Stand” project will be re-released with Gus’ voice ?

    • Gus said it should be released early this month.. really any day now! I’m excited to hear it πŸ™‚ .

    • I have heard from my sources Steve, that they just finished the mix on Just Stand II… So now it will be shipped to the manufacturer… It usually takes 2-3 weeks to get it back from the manufacturer… So maybe around the end of February… I hope sooner but we will see!

      • I wish sooner since I have tickets to see them on Saturday! But I kind of doubt it’ll be by then!

  3. Thanks for posting my video, Daniel πŸ˜€ . I’m honored πŸ˜‰ . It is truly an amazing song, and Legacy Five sings it with such feeling!

    • You’re welcome! Thanks for posting it!

  4. This is great! Gus sounds really good with L5 already… They talk about it taking awhile to get the right blend and chemistry, but to me it seems they already have it!

    • I think they already are at the same level that certain previous lineups had . . . and it might even get better from here!

  5. The sound is “spot on”, but what impresses me more than that is the genuineness (is that a word?) of the group, and that line, “when they found nothing, they found everything” is one of the most powerful in a long while.

    • I know. That song grabbed me the first time I heard itβ€”and hasn’t let go yet!

      • I don’t get why it hasn’t done better on the radio so far… it’s an AMAZING song!! I guess I just don’t understand the process well enough.

  6. Good grief.

Whoever paired those pants/jackets should be taken out and shot.

    • ..with a 10 megapixel digital camera. πŸ˜‰

      Sorry, couldn’t resist!

    • I rather liked the combination! The video really doesn’t do them justice. They’re much more snazzy in person πŸ˜‰

  7. now if they could do just something with scott. lol

  8. I have to admit…I have never been a fan of Legacy Five…but with the addition of Gus, they have picked p a new fan!

  9. i love this song.

  10. Daniel:

I looked for you Friday, Feb. 5th in Wooster. I think L5 sounds really good. Probably one of the best L5 concerts that I have seen. The new tenor, Gus, seems to help Scott Fowler immensely. Ranges and breath control that I haven’t seen Scott accomplish since singing alongside Ernie & Glen.

    • I had a ticket and really wanted to go, but with the road conditions my family talked me out of making the drive.

I should have thought about calling to see if you were going over and going with you!
