  1. Thumbs up……Dixie Echoes are continuing with a great bass singer. Trent sounds good with them.

  2. Sounds pretty good…though I was going to miss Pat more, but trent really fits pretty well. We are planning a concert with the Dixie Echoes.

    • Great!

Pat is one of a very small handful of people in our genre with an immediately recognizable voice. Of course, no singer can exactly be replaced, but even so Pat was less replaceable than most. But even though Trent’s voice is a little different, he seems to be a good fit and certainly has their style down pat (no pun intended!)

  3. Trent sounds great. I knew he would. What a voice for 19. What a voice for any age. I wish them the best.

    • I’m glad to hear you say that. It’s always encouraging when an outgoing member can say that about his replacement.

    • Pat – you’re a class act, buddy. We miss you! Hope things are going well with Trammel.

  4. Trent is a great fit for the Echoes. We were on the cruise last week and the crowd loved him! Pat Barker is most likely the greatest bass voice in the business. Nobody is better suited to take his place than a young, up-and-coming bass like Trent Adams, who is already doing a great job and has a hundred miles more of potential. I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish with them, as well as what Pat will accomplish with Mark.

    • Your check’s in the mail, Alan! haha! I know the guys appreciate your kind remarks. 🙂

  5. Apologies to all whose comments were tagged as spam! I think it’s all fixed now.
