Blackwood Quartet not in Shelby, OH on Friday

The March 2010 Singing News lists a concert for the Blackwood Quartet at Shelby, Ohio’s First Lutheran Church this Friday. (I consider the church my home church as far as concerts go; I meet in a home church that, obviously, does not host concerts, and this is the one church in my area that consistently brings in Southern Gospel groups.)

According to the church’s minister of music, Paul Martin (“Paul the Concert Guy”), that listing is inaccurate, and they will not be in Shelby this Friday.

  1. Thanks, Daniel! Believe me, it isn’t because we don’t them here, because are a great group, but somehow they sent the wrong information to the Singing News Magazine. Thanks so much for this notice to your readers…hopefully this will help let people know not to come out Friday night.
