Blackwood Brothers to sing at Dove Awards

This just in: The Blackwood Brothers (Jimmy Blackwood’s group, the one now with Daywind) will be singing during the Dove Awards program on April 21.

Congratulations to a group that has worked hard paying their dues in this generation, not to mention past generations.

5 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. That is fantastic news! They certainly are doing things right! I am so glad for their success!

  2. I’m glad to see them succeeding. I’m impressed with their group. . . perhaps the only present BW group that I’ve followed. Congrats!

  3. I’m thrilled, too!

  4. Are they singing on the televised program or the pre-show?

  5. Nevermind – I found it – they are going to be a part of a tribute celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Southern Gospel with Legacy Five, Booth Brothers, Perrys, Crabb Family, and Mosie Lister!
