Surveys, continued

First, David Bruce Murray is running another interesting survey at Musicscribe, Song of the Decade – 1990s. If you took my familiarity with other genres survey yesterday, then please go over to his site and take his today. 🙂 [EDIT, 6/6/12: Broken link removed.]

Second, if you haven’t taken my familiarity with other genres survey yet, it’s here:

Last time I hosted a survey with SurveyMonkey, they collected responses until 100, then stopped. Then I saved the data and started afresh (same questions). This time, they kept collecting past 100 and informed me that they would charge $19.99 to show all replies past 100. I will not be using them again—I’d also encourage you to go elsewhere—but in the meantime, I may as well get my money’s worth. There are 128 responses so far, and I’d love to see 200 or more.

5 Letters to the Editor

Southern Gospel Journal welcomes letters to the editor. We will post the most thoughtful and insightful submissions. Ground rules: Don't attack or belittle groups or fellow posters, or advance heresies rejected by orthodox Christianity. Do keep comments positive, constructive, and on topic.
  1. I just went and took both surveys.

    • So you were the one who’d never heard of Gold City!?!?!? 😮

  2. I recommend They do have a pro version with some nice features, but as far as I can tell, the free version has no limit on responses.

    • Thanks! I will definitely keep them in mind next time I do a survey. 🙂

  3. My poll ends tonight (Thursday), so come on over and vote if you haven’t already. Two songs are in the close race for first place at the moment.
